The Planning and Zoning Department reviews all building plans to determine their compliance with the planning and zoning regulations of the community. Current building codes in use are the 2018 International Building Code with the 2018 Kentucky amendments.
The Planning and Zoning Commission meets regularly the fourth Monday of each month. If the regularly scheduled meeting falls on a holiday it is usually held the next business day, and the new date will be published in the local news medias.
